Care Tips
Plant rhizomes in spring after last frost, 2 to 4 inches deep and 18 to 24 inches apart. Fertilize regularly during growing season. Blooms midsummer until frost. In colder climates, cut back foliage after first frost and store tubers in peat in a cool, dark place for winter. Prefers rich, well-draining soil that is consistently moist.
